Previously known as the Erick Elefante Cup, the PNRL Shield is the yearly rugby league domestic competition which has been running since the inaugural competition was kicked off in 2016 and won by Manila Storm. Since then the competition has been operating as a 4 team competition with the Storm and the Hunters being two of the most dominant participants through the 4 seasons.
